The Samsung Galaxy Watch9 44mm LTE Graphite (SM-L355F) is Samsung's 2026 cellular smartwatch. Compared with the Bluetooth version (SM-L350), it adds a built-in eSIM and works on its own: you can make calls, receive notifications, use data and stream music with your phone left at home.

Key features

  • LTE with eSIM — calls, SMS and data without a phone.
  • 1.5" Super AMOLED, up to 3000 nits, sapphire crystal glass.
  • Snapdragon Wear Elite (3nm), 2GB RAM, 32GB storage.
  • 445mAh — up to 40h (AOD off) / up to 30h (AOD on).
  • ECG, blood pressure, SpO2, HRV, skin temperature, body composition, sleep apnea risk.
  • Google Gemini, NFC, dual-frequency GPS (L1+L5), Bluetooth 6.0.
  • 5ATM, IP68, MIL-STD-810H; 46.0 × 43.7 × 8.6mm, 34g.

LTE and eSIM

The watch has an embedded eSIM (no physical SIM slot) and supports 4G LTE (FDD and TDD) . With an active eSIM plan you can make and take calls, send messages, use Gemini and maps, and stream music without your phone — for example while running, training or travelling. The service (usually number sharing with your phone) must be activated with your mobile carrier; check that your carrier supports eSIM for smartwatches before buying.

Display and case

1.5-inch (37.3mm) Super AMOLED, 480 × 480, peak brightness 3000 nits, covered by sapphire crystal. Aluminium case: 46.0 × 43.7 × 8.6mm, 34g (without strap). Supplied with a Sport Band, interchangeable with standard Samsung bands.

Health features

The BioActive sensor (optical heart rate, electrical heart and bioelectrical impedance sensors) enables:

  • ECG recording and blood pressure measurement (calibration with a standard cuff required);
  • tracking of heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate, skin temperature and SpO2 (Vitals);
  • body composition (muscle, fat, water);
  • sleep apnea risk detection (FDA-cleared) and sleep stage analysis (Sleep Coaching);
  • Energy Score and Heart Health Score. The watch is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis.

Fitness

Workout tracking, VO2 max, Fitness Index, Daily Cardio Load, Running Coach (personal running plan), Sweat Loss (fluid loss and hydration guidance). Dual-frequency GPS (L1+L5) + GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS; barometer for altitude. Durability: 5ATM (swimming), IP68, MIL-STD-810H.

Performance and software

Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite (3nm, 5 cores, up to 2.1GHz), 2GB RAM, 32GB storage. Software: Wear OS 7 / One UI 9 Watch. Google Gemini starts when you raise your wrist (Raise to Talk). Security updates until 31 July 2031.

Battery

445mAh (the 40mm version has 390mAh). Samsung rates it at up to 40 hours with Always On Display off and up to 30 hours with it on. Heavy LTE use shortens battery life. Wireless charging (up to 10W).

Compatibility

Phones with Android 13 or later and at least 1.5GB RAM. ECG and blood pressure require a Samsung Galaxy phone. Not compatible with iPhone.
