Designed for intensive use, the iBlow10 is particularly suitable for situations where a large flow of people needs to be quickly checked for alcohol, such as:
• In factories, inspecting incoming workers and visitors for alcohol.
• Entering strategic facilities such as military bases or airports.
• In particularly dangerous objects, such as mines, oil rigs, nuclear power plants.
• In places where alcohol consumption is prohibited (eg prisons).
• Monitoring that minors have not consumed alcohol.
• iBlow 10 can also be used to determine if the liquid in containers (bottles, cans, glasses) contains alcohol.
There are two ways to display the result:
• Presentation of the result of three levels: 0.00, Lo, Hi:
0.00 (0.00 ppm is displayed and the device lights up green),
Lo (sets the limit above which the device lights up red) and
Hi (sets the threshold above which the device glows red).
• Numerical presentation of the result, up to 1.00 per mille. If the result exceeds 1.00 per mille, you will see the message Hi on the screen.
Attention - due to human physiology, this quantitative result is only preliminary, as the device measures the exhaled air at a distance. An accurate result is obtained only by measuring with a professional breathalyzer, using a disposable nozzle for the measurement, because only in this case is it possible to take an air sample from the depth of the lungs.
